| Abstract: | Used in scientific research since the 1980s, zebrafish (Danio rerio) have evolved into a strong contender in translational studies. At the University of Malta, Prof. Melissa M. Formosa and her team are utilising this model for Project STRONG, a research initiative centred on osteosarcopenia – the degenerative concurrent loss of bone and muscle. |
