Abstract: The island of Gozo, Malta’s sister, is best known for its breathtaking coastal landscapes, azure waters, and limestone architecture that appears to rise seamlessly from its cliffs. Beyond these picture-perfect vistas, however, lies a hidden underwater world teeming with life and colour. Among the marine residents of Gozo's waters, sea slugs, particularly nudibranchs, are some of the most intriguing and ecologically important, yet often overlooked, creatures. [excerpt]
