Abstract: Values and values education are not being sufficiently explored through play in early childhood. This research will highlight why vital it is for children to learn how to think ethically. It will investigate how to apply this knowledge in the community, both in the classroom and in the community. This will aid in developing an educational programme that aims at the acquisition of an ethical approach towards others. This study will research what are these mentioned virtues, and how the Knightly virtues can be applied. The study will also examine how the buildings, foundations and piety of the Knights of Malta may offer a solid ground for exploration and learning. This research will also explore the basic principles of play-based approaches that may help children explore these values in the early childhood context. Through research, a conclusion will be made on how children in our classroom can make sense of the impact of our actions on others through play.
