Abstract: This article reports some of the headline findings from a nationally-representative survey (n=507) conducted in Malta, which sought to understand environmental attitudes and behaviours with a view to guiding policy. Correlation analysis enabled the identification of broad relationships, while composite variables that synthesize information on attitudes, concern, knowledge and behaviour respectively were used as the dependent variables in multivariate regression analysis with a view to parsing out the effects of their main socio-economic determinants.
