Abstract: The study aims to provide information to health care providers and policy makers in understanding the relationship between stressors in secondary health care and individual health care professionals’ strain reactions. Furthermore it aims to examine the impact that three groups of factors; individual, group and contextual, have on the relationship between the stress in hospitals and the strain on individual health care professionals.
