Abstract: Among the readers of Lehen il-Malti there were some who did not agree with prior articles which discussed the necessity for change when it comes to the teaching of the Maltese language. In the previous issue, it was mentioned that the authors of Lehen il-Malti firmly believed in the importance of examinations in the Maltese language as well as the need for students who have finished their learning in government schools knowing how to read and write adequately in Maltese, should still continue to study the language for another two years in the lyceum.
