| Abstract: | In this article, Dun Karm compares the Maltese language to monuments or pottery, stone or bone ruins which are now found and appreciated in museums. He points out that similarly to these precious items, the Maltese language is monumental and cannot be significantly changed without damaging it. The author also examines the origins of the Maltese language. |
