Abstract: | It is, perhaps, best to start with defining what we mean by the term 'environment education'. One definition is 'the imparting of knowledge on fundamentals about the environment that informed citizens should know if they are to deal intelligently with the complex environmental issues of modern living'. Not everybody will agree with this definition but it can be regarded as a working one before one proceeds to deal with the nub of the matter - what is this 'environment' that we are educating about? |
