Abstract: | In every society, regardless of its political system, power tends to be concentrated in the hand of the few. The direct system of democracy of the ancient Greek city-states where every citizen was given the opportunity to participate actively in the act of governing over the centuries gave way to the doctrine of the divine rule of kings. This article concentrates on different forms of government and ideologies. |
