| Abstract: | Infographics are means of communication, in which information can be conveyed through visual representations, adopting illustrations and large typography displaying an assortment of facts. Most commonly, visualizations include pie charts, bar graphs, line charts and so forth. However relationships in data maybe quite complex. This research investigates the use of infographics in two divergent media, which are frequently used in our contemporary times. The chosen media are to be evaluated through a substantial amount of research in which authentic sources provide an understanding of the infographic principles in both media: editorial design and motion graphics. A data collection process will include a considerable amount of interviews and questionnaires conducted with locals from Birzebbuga. In order to collect inside information about organisations established in Birzebbuga, which can potentially pose an interest to the general public. The collected data is sorted out through a series of development stages. In which a focus group further refines the implementation process of the infographics into the chosen media. Achieving a collective group of work, with functional and appealing conventions, satisfying the comprehension of the intended massage. |
