L-iskop tas-Socjeta` tal-Awturi Maltin

Abstract

This is a speech delivered by the President of the 'Socjeta` ta' l-Awturi Maltin' at the Aula Magna, Royal University Malta on the 28 of January 1954. This talk refers to the exchange between international poets, where they share their experience and culture through their masterpieces such as poems. However the Curmi points out that no Maltese author has made a name in Europe. He says that it is every writer's ambition to spread his words, making a name for himself and for Malta, and this is the scope of this organisation, helping current and future artists to flourish worldwide
