Abstract: In this short paper, I will dwell on three distinct but closely related topics, concerning the Maltese Pharmacist, his environment, and the role he plays in the health services in Malta. I will start by defining his status and his qualifications to practise pharmacy, then I will discuss some economic and social aspects of pharmacy, and finally I will proceed to examine the Pharmacist's changing role in Malta as a member of the Health Care team.
