| Abstract: | The name of George Zammit is a famous one in Maltese literature as his poems are known to have a unique rythm and mellowing effect. His poem “Ghanja ta Seba Gherien” was written on the 8th of September, 1957, and they applaud the efforts of the Maltese ancestors who shed blood for Malta during the various battles that the island had witnessed. |
