Abstract: | In the first session of the fifth legislation of the Legislative Assembly on July 30th, 1957, Sir Pulis had asked then Prime Minister Duminku Mintoff how many theatres are open-air and at what time are dance halls supposed to close. In the name of the prime minister, Guze Ellul replied that the number of theatres in Malta was 12 and that permission was granted for dance halls to stay open until 11pm. |
