It all started in 1985 when the Malta Photographic Society's first publication was issued, titled 'The Photographic Society (Malta) Journal'. This was a step forward for the Malta Photographic Society, for which just few days after the first issue was being distributed to its members and many other photographic enthusiasts, letters were received wishing all the success for the coming issues. The feedback that was delivered back to the editorial board was superb and many were those who also sent suggestions for the future of this journal.
