| Abstract: | Landsat, formerly known as ERTS, yields inexpensive satellite imagery of large areas of the earth's surface under cloud-free conditions. The imagery and its suitability for land-use surveying would be useful to developing countries in arid and semi-arid regions. The authors present results from trials of a new processing system designed to assist image interpretation. |
