| Abstract: | Dr C.G. Schinas published a journal called “L’Alpe Melitense – Giornale di Medicina” in the last quarter of 1838 with the aim of appealing to experienced doctors and physicians. One of the most important articles in this journal is the epidemiological and clinical study of the cholera epidemic that plagued Malta in June 1837. |
