Abstract: Mercieca gives a detailed account of the personality and accomplishments of Sir Adrian Dingli, who was born on the 8th of October 1817. Throughout his life, Dingli mastered various languages- Maltese, English, Italian, French, German, Greek and, to a lesser extent, Hebrew and Arabic. He was best known for his work as a Chief of Justice of Malta.
