| Abstract: | Whilst reference can be found in the literature to the sequence and timing of the moult of the Manx and Balearic Shearwaters Puffinus puffinus and Pufinus mauretanicus, those of the Levantine Shearwater Puffinus yelkouan do not seem to have been investigated (Cramp & Simmons 1977, Ginn & Melville 1983). |
