Abstract: | Mallia traces the footsteps of Father Manwel Magri- a priest who had an undying affinity for archaeology albeit the fact that he had no formal training in this area. This, however, did not impede his development as an archaeologist since, with the knowledge of a multitude of languages, his immersion was greatly facilitated. |
