Abstract: As a result of Alberto Pullicino's expertly-painted panoramic views of Valletta and its harbour, a glimpse into 18th-century Malta is available. The painter, of which not much is known, enjoyed an elevated degree of popularity within the French Knights of the Order of St. John and, as a result, numerous paintings of his were taken to France where they can still be found to this day.
