What motivates Maltese couples to marry in the Catholic Church? : a quantitative analysis

Abstract

The dissertation is organised as follows: Following this chapter, chapter 2 presents and discusses relevant literature with regards to marriage and the Catholic Church, including what the researchers and authors say, clearer definitions of what it is and what it involves, different influences and ideas about marriage and the church. Views are also compared and contrasted. Chapter 3 describes the methodology adopted in the study. Chapter 4 presents the results obtained from the structured questionnaires. The similarities and differences are discussed in chapter 5 which also includes a critical evaluation of the findings. Finally, chapter 6 includes the conclusion made from this study.
