| Abstract: | The examination of urine should unfailingly constitute part of the clinical examination. It should be looked upon in no other way than as part of a routine. The time spent by the clinician in carefully testing a patient's urine is well repayed in so many instances. A diagnosis and a line of treatment may in quite a few cases have to be revised in view of the urine findings. It should always be born in mind that the urine does not reflect only what is happening in the kidneys, but in the whole body suffice it to mention that the presence of glucose in the urine does not necessarily indicate a lesion in the kidneys. |
