| Abstract: | The term antibacterial agents includes all the antibiotics, that is drugs produced by the metabolism of living organisms, as well as the sulphonamides and other chemotherapeutic agents. The subject is so vast that only the more common or important conditions will be discussed in relation to these agents. (The term "antibiotics" is used below instead of antibacterial agents far the sake of brevity). |
