Abstract: Malta is investing over EUR 131 million in measures aimed at improving the qualifi cations, skills and active participation of its workforce. With limited natural resources, Malta’s economy is more dependent than others on the quality of its workforce and its ability to adapt to changing circumstances. ESF funding is helping to enhance the culture of education and training in Malta and encouraging a greater level of participation in working life.
