Abstract: The weather in Malta consists of hot and dry summers and the mild winters are rather wet. Hence, the weather in Malta contributes to bird migration. The bird-migration fly-way over the Maltese Islands is from a South-Western direction to the North-East in Spring and vice-versa in Autumn on the return of migration.
