dc.description.abstractL’italiano è molto vivo a Malta, gli insegnanti hanno contatti regolari con l’Italia e hanno una buona conoscenza dei testi di glottodidattica. Però per quanto riguarda il sistema di certificazione che viene adoperata dalle università italiane è palese che i nostri insegnanti non hanno un’idea chiara di che cosa si tratta, di come funziona o su come può essere di beneficio per loro. Per la stragrande maggioranza degli insegnanti maltesi la certificazione non va oltre agli esami SEC, all’Intermediate e all’Advanced level examinations. Introdurre la certificazione DITALS (Didattica dell'Italiano come Lingua Straniera) a Malta potrebbe consentire agli studenti di ottenere un' altra certificazione riconosciuta internazionalmente.en_GB
