Abstract: What are the key concerns facing migrant women in Malta? To what extent are they able to integrate into Maltese society? Is the labour market accessible or inaccessible to women migrants? How are migrant women challenged by multiple discrimination? This article is concerned with women who migrate from African countries, many of whom are rescued at sea, hopeful of a better life in Europe.
