It is now an established fact that the cultivation of cacti and other succulent plants has become a very popular hobby in these islands. Everywhere we go we could see these plants in front gardens and in pots decorating windowsills, terraces, and porches. Unfortunately very little written information is found on the cultivation of these plants in our paticular conditions. The author of this booklet has dedicated his time, energy and money to put together a lot of information in a very limited space. In doing so he is providing enough information so that those who need it could not only enjoy their plants better, but can also go forward to become more involved in this fascinating hobby, after all this is what is beautiful about having an interesting hobby. The author of this booklet has the right qualifications to pass on to others the knowledge he has accumulated during his many years of involvement with these interesting plants. He has the right scientific background and long years of hands-on experience.
