Abstract: The aim of opting for the leitmotif "the effects of rescission of contracts with regard to third parties" as the title of this thesis boils down this: A mere glimpse at such a leitmotif reveals, indeed, a leitmotif which is not just engrossing but intriguing as a legal topos selected for a theoretical or speculative analysis. The mere whisper of the figure of the third party alone as a basic constitutive component of it may readily stimulate interest or attention of any nature or decree as it invites conflicts of interest in any institute falling within the law of contracts whenever the protagonists of such a law, the contracting parts, are on stage. The leitmotif of this thesis viewed in its entirety may, in any case, and not, infrequently, foment endless arguments and counter-arguments by chain reaction, which may easily turn out to be impervious to any standard of measure and any formula of solution in practical terms while attracting the involvement of legions of persons.
