Production and evaluation of teaching aids in biology

Abstract

A series of topics have been chosen from the Biology Syllabus :for 'O'-level G.C.E. examinations held overseas namely ,Insects, the Flowering Plant and the Mammal. For each topic chosen, a scheme of work, lesson notes and visual aids - which included the preparation of slides, slide-conmentaries, charts, and work sheets(a copy of charts and worksheets is to be found following the respective lessons) - were compiled. A few lessons The Economic Importance of Insects in General, The Life-Cycle of the Cabbage White Butterfly, The Digestive System - were then taken and evaluated.
