Abstract: Three Intelligence Tests, the Formboard, the Draw-a-Man and the Naming Vocabulary Tests were administered to a sample of 400 Maltese children (200 boys, 200 girls) attending state Kindergarten classes. Their ages varied from 4:02 to 5:03 years. Mean performance, age and sex difference and laterality were studied. No significant differences in the I performance of the two sexes were found except in the Naming Vocabulary Test, A study was also carried out to assess the reliability and validity of the three tests.
