Abstract: In this work I studied both the Economic and Technical Education in Malta prior to the Development Plans. As time passed, the Maltese economy needed some changes and these could only be achieved through good planning; thus, Development Plans were introduced. The change in the economy brought about a consequent change in the educational structure. These changes in education were also discussed in the above-mentioned Development Plans, and in this work we will see what was discussed and what actually happened. As time passes, we can see better the results of the changes in both sectors, that is, in the Educational and in the Economic Sectors. In this work this can be seen from the relationship between the Industrial Sector and the Educational Sector. Finally, we will take a look at the future trends of both our economy and our education.
