Abstract: The dissertation revolves around the recent introduction of Business Studies in the local Secondary State Schools and Junior Lyceums, by virtue of the recent educational reform. It presents a review and analysis of the present subject syllabi. Observational study has been carried out with a sample of the first group of students together with their teacher, who were exposed to this introduction into the curiculum. The available factual information has been passed on to the reader and some suggestions and possible future happenings have been discussed. The appendices show copies of the National Minimum Curriculum by virtue of which this chnge in local business education has taken place, together with copies of the published subject syllabi which are the only local source of information about Business Studies.
