Abstract: This study investigates the attitudes, as well as the degree and kind of awareness, that various people surrounding the mainstreamed deaf children in Malta have. Importance is given to the role played by parents, siblings and other relatives in the family; and society at large. teachers and peers in the school It aims at highlighting the influence of such factors on the development of the deaf child and the realization of his full potential.
