Sex education and Maltese school-boys

Abstract

This dissertations deals with three main aspects, namely the philosophy of sex education, the study of a man as a sexual being, and issues important to sex education. This work deals with also with the findings of a survey in connection with this dissertation and the running of a pilot project in sex education which is the fruit of the research done. Problems of sexuality like masturbation, homosexuality and pornography are also discussed. Aspects of human sexuality are discussed in some depth starting from infant concepts of sex to the adult behaviour. All throughout the text there is a call for the taking of action in the provision of sex education by the parents and school.
