Abstract: The School is studied in the context of the present situation of agriculture and agricultural education in Gozo. A comparative study of U.K. and Maltese agricultural education is conducted, so as to identify certain features in the U.K. system which could be applied to the Maltese system. Also given is an outline of the School's history and its present situation. It emerges that agricultural education should be more comprehensive. The School is still needed in Gozo. It can serve as a Centre for agricultural education in Gozo. As regards the day course its role should be two-fold: to function as other schools in giving the students the tools to be able to learn more; and to introduce interested students to agriculture based on scientific principles. In this framework, several suggestions are proposed.
