Abstract: A study of the Performance of a group of young Maltese children in Kindgergarten and Year 1 on three non verbal tests. A sample of Maltese Children (N=90 age ranging from 4 to 6, attending Kindergarten and Year one of Zebbug Primary "A" was studied. The following aspects were considered: ( 1) Performance on the 3 tests namely the Circle, Square, Diamond Test, The Goodenough Harris Drawing Test and the Segwin Formboard. Results were studied in terms of age group differences and similarities. Correlation of tests was also studied. The norms established for the age group 5:0 - 5:5 were compared with norms established through investigations carried out locally and abroad. Sex differences and family size were also considered.
