| Abstract: | This is a grounded in-depth study of a morning programme for women held at the Johann Strauss School of Music, Valletta during the period March - May 1994. The programme has been running for the last two years. This qualitative study includes an extensive view of the literature on women and adult education, particularly supporting different feminists theories in the field. It is based on a comparative analysis of interviews and field observations, allowing spaces for the 'voices' of women learners, teachers, coordinators and other key persons in my field of interest. I also identify challenges for the future. |
