Abstract: The aim of the study is to present the Person of Jesus and His Message through song. It therefore, brings out the importance of song and its function in Religious Education. Furthermore, this study evaluates the creative dimension which song inculcates within the child, integrating his daily experience with Jesus. The study involves the writing of music and lyrics for Year 3 children, based on the Religious Text Book, "Lejn il-Missier", followed by their presentation in the classroom setting. Within this environment, these songs create a medley of music dynamics and texture, to involve the children in an integral way. The outcome of this study indicates the expression music withholds in the development of faith in the child. It also manifests the ability children have of integrating song with their inner world. This endowment also shows, how Jesus is alive in their little world, and how his Message lives in their everyday living.
