Abstract: A brief study of the historical background of children "in Care" precedes the case study about two Homes; Angela House in Pieta and Lourdes Home in Ghajnsielem. The main aim of this study is to get to know who these children are and how their lives differ from those of children living in "normal" families. A discussion on the development of the social, academic and I.Q. achievements and the three wishes of children "in Care" in these particular Homes follows.
