Abstract: Lifelong education has a growing rank of supporters who hope to stimulate worldwide educational reform in the coming decades. Malta, too, must, for the benefit of its people, tarry no longer in putting this educational system into operation. In the first chapter I gave a brief description of the concept of lifelong education. In the following chapters I indicated some of the reforms to be actuated in both the formal and informal educative agencies for lifelong education to become Malta's "master concept for educational policies". Chapter II deals with the school. Chapter III deals with the home and the centres of learning to be set up on a national scale.
