Abstract: This work is a study of a Catholic secondary grammar school for boys. St. Paul's Missionary College was founded by the Missionary Society of St. Paul, with whom it maintains vital links. This study purports to show how S.P.M.C. came to be established, how it grew and developed. It is intended to bring to light the particular characteristics of this school by examining its aims, organization and activities, both curricular and extra-curricular. Chapter One is a description and brief history of the Missionary Society of St. Paul, intended to help understand how and why S.P.M.C. came to be opened. Chapter Two describes the aims, establishment and certain particular characteristics which S.P.M.C. was intended to have when it was founded. Chapter Three deals with the school organization: the administration, the staff, the parents' associations and also the students' participation and commitment towards the progress of the school. The School Curricular activities, then aims and organization, pupils' assessment and the school resources are treated in Chapter Four. Chapter Five discusses Extra-Curricular and other activities which complement the Curricular activities.
