Abstract: The objective of this study is to provide an insight into the main study methods, habits and skills used by students at different levels. Initially, a look will be given to the factors affecting studying itself, and what issues come into play when studying. Various literature will be consulted in order to determine what constitutes such a process and the difficulties encountered within it, these including different study habits, motivation, as well as a variety of studies which have been carried out on the subject. Consequently, an overview of the various ideas expounded by authors will be taken into consideration. An investigation is then carried out as to how students at late Secondary School levels and the ones attending different Sixth Forms go about their studying. The objective of the research is to bring out whether age difference, differing environment and other factors contribute to, or otherwise bring out any differences in study methods. Interviews with teachers and guidance teachers help provide further insight into the matter. Moving on from this point, hints are given as to what practices might improve the studying experiences and achievement of students at various levels. These are carried out by combining ideas discussed in literature about the subject as well as our own observations.
