| Abstract: | This thesis starts by giving the reader a general overview of illegal migration from an International Relations aspect. The gradual evolution of the relationship between national sovereignty and integration on the European level together with the issue of globalisation. Then in the third chapter we analyse the causes and consequences of illegal migration from North Africa and the Maghreb and how the said illegal migration is effecting the Mediterranean basin. Possible solution for tackling this Issue |
