| Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to present practical ideas that can be useful for the improvement of music education in the primary school. Chapters II-IV discuss various concepts of music education that evolved after the 1940's. Chapter V presents a very brief history chapter is an sample of 550 of music education in Malta. The following analysis of the data drawn from a random primary school teachers in Malta and Gozo. Chapter VII provides the generalist teacher with a planned sequence of musical activities which the children can enjoy and which, with proper use, will help to improve their knowledge, understanding and love of music. |
