Abstract: The framework proposed in this project explores the possibility of using scripting tools to draft, design, develop and deploy script based lessons. Scripting languages offer a number of controls, like menus, navigation, search engine, title, date, clock, pop-up window, graphic animation, and mouse trailer for dynamic and attractive presentations. This framework focuses on one authoring tool and that is Adobe Flash CS3 Professional. Adobe Flash is one of the most popular multimedia authoring programs. It is hoped that a system is developed, after proper requirements elicitation and analysis, which bridges the gap between the designers and his tools on one hand and the designer and the classroom on the other. Through the use of Flash, this framework will implement a bubble sort demo to highlight the features of Adobe Flash. The approach defined in this document recognises existing lessons being taught and recognises the need to balance successful, existing methods with the approach of blended Learning technologies to increase the quality, consistency and accessibility of training. Blended Learning will ultimately provide the means to sustain performance levels over time. This document is not intended to be prescriptive but it includes concepts and Flash components to assist the developer in performing analyses and reaching his own well informed training and performance support decisions. This document outlines a strategy designed to meet the above requirements.
