Abstract: There are as many definitions of e-commerce/e-business as there are participants in the process. The World Trade Organisation defines it as "the production, distribution, marketing, sale or delivery of goods and services by electronic means" I prefer the definition of Professor Lamersdorf "the summary of all mechanisms, processes and components for computer based information and communication support of economic transactions between all kinds of distributed market participants"
