| Abstract: | The purpose of the following document is to provide an overview of the basic Object Oriented Database technologies and essential concepts needed to develop a successful object oriented database. It provides a specification from which a prototype has been developed as a prove of concept of the practicality and usefulness of how this technology has and how it will help to improve the efficiency and cost cutting in today's software markets. The prototype might serve for the development of OO-Databases based on one of possible methodologies. |
