| Abstract: | In this study, concerning the incidence of brucellosis in the Maltese Islands, the first recorded evidence and manifestation of disease together with the repeated occurrence of the disease and its management in the early days are discussed. Furthermore, the microbiological and epidemiological aspects of the disease in conjunction with the zoonotic nature of brucellosis is examined. |
